We are awake. We've now spent long enough in the dark.
... that was the longest hibernation ever! February 2020 was the last Klangklubnacht, August 2019 the last festival. We think the break has now been long enough and we are in the process of planning a small & fine Klangtherapie A restart after the pandemic, supported by the federal initiative "Neustart Kultur".
Here are the facts:

Ticket price increase
Until now, we were one of the cheapest alternative techno festivals in Germany. The ticket price was permanently below 100 euros until 2019. Why was that? Because it was important to us to offer you an affordable spectacle. However, this meant that we could only pay our crew underground wages in some cases. Especially considering that we are one of the few festivals in Germany that doesn't receive any sponsorship money. In order to be able to continue to offer us all an advertising-free experience and not have to sell our soul to a large corporation, we are now going to raise the ticket price. It is very important to us to be able to pay better wages for the great work of our managers and crews. However, it should be noted that without the many volunteers, the ticket price would be even higher!
We also have to compensate for the costs of the past two years, such as the lease of our festival site or maintenance costs for the stages. Of course, we have received and continue to receive support from the state (Neustart Kultur, bridging aid), but not 100% of the eligible costs are covered, so we still have to bear a large part of the costs ourselves.
Another major factor in the ticket price increase is the exponential rise in costs in the areas of sanitation, security, infrastructure, technology and service providers. A small example: In the area of security, costs have risen by over 20%.
Bavarian Pop Culture Award goes to Klangtherapie Festival
As some of you may have already noticed, the Klangtherapie Festival has won the Bavarian Pop Culture Award 2021 in the Festival of the Year category. At the suggestion of Green Party member of state parliament Dr. Sabine Weigand, we were able to convince the jury with our concept and win a fancy trophy and a small amount of prize money. However, we hope to benefit most from the title itself. Especially in terms of recognition of our (cultural) work by local politicians and the neighborhood. We all create something really big and beautiful on the field every year. It's balm for the soul to receive recognition for what we do.

We are donating 500 euros of our prize money to the non-profit organization Bamberg:UA e.V. to support the Ukrainian civilian population. Feel invited to support us too!

Unfortunately, we are not accepting any music applications this year, as we have fewer stages and therefore fewer slots. We also want to give applicants from 2020 the chance to take part!

Metamorphosia Festival 2022
Due to personnel bottlenecks in our organization, there will be no first Metamorphosia this year. We hope to be able to realize the festival in 2023.

We are trying to keep necessary measures to a minimum, but we definitely want to go ahead again! If the event cannot take place due to the pandemic situation, the full ticket price will be refunded for all newly purchased tickets.
To ensure that all necessary contact details can be recorded, as currently required by authorities and official bodies due to the pandemic situation, only one ticket can be purchased per customer and order. Each ticket is therefore personalized. It is not possible to pass on your ticket, but you can cancel it directly with us at ticketstorno@klangtherapie-shop.de.
All ticket holders from previous years for whom the ticket is not registered in their name (e.g. if friends of yours have also ordered your ticket) must use the personalization form. The ticket is not valid without personalization!
