What happens next?

Yesterday, the German government announced that there will be no major events until August 31. Now we are asking ourselves the question: how will "major event" be defined? A decision on this is to be made today (16.4.) at state level. We assume that there will not be a Klangtherapie in its actual form, but we still hope that we will be allowed to hold it in a small, cozy setting. As a break party, so to speak.

We are already getting a few requests to cancel tickets. We can well understand that. As soon as there is a clear announcement "from above", we will inform you in detail about the options available to you as guests. We want you to know that the Klangtherapie festival is an ongoing operation and costs do not only arise shortly before the start of the event. Invoices for e.g. staff, lease, office rent, pro rata fee payments etc. have to be paid throughout the year. In plain language, this means that money has already been spent on Klangtherapie 2020. This is made possible by the ticket sales and thus your commitment to attend Klangtherapie as a guest. Many organizers, including us, are now facing the challenge of not getting into major financial difficulties. That's why, among other things, there will be the option of simply keeping your ticket until next year or even donating it. Feel free to ask yourself whether and how you can and would like to support Klangtherapie in this special situation. Let's do this together!
