While plans are already being made for the next sound therapy session, we would like to take a moment to review the past festival!
Our motto, which has been confirmed time and again over the years: “The freedom to be who we are!”, is so wonderfully lived that it makes our hearts beat faster.
Everyone in this world should have the right to be who they are!
However, society doesn't always make it easy for us with its dogmas and constraints! That's why we are all the happier to have created a space where you can live out yourselves, feel free and secure, laugh as much as you like and dance as if no one was watching!
Long before you come wandering up the little road with tents, gas stoves and deckchairs, we are working and living in the otherwise rather sleepy village of Scherleithen. When the migration of people begins, it's amazing to see how YOU wonderful guests enchant and enliven this nest.
For us as a crew, this is a very special moment. And even the locals can hardly help smiling when the horde of FriendlyFreaks arrives with beaming faces and sunglasses and splashes naked in the river. You people at the festival are simply magical and show the region that young people can not only stand for rioting, but also for loving and peaceful togetherness.
THANK YOU FOR THAT!
"It got me!
It crackled between you and me - sound therapy - now I'm free!"
We would like to go into a few more topics from the past therapy...
Garbage
A big thank you to everyone who leaves their field clean year after year! Nature should shine again after the festival so that the fox and hare can return to their habitat and feel at home, because it is YOUR meadow - WE ARE ALL JUST GUESTS THERE!
It's just a shame that not everyone has understood this yet. That's why we ask you once again not to leave your pitch as a garbage dump. We also want to do our part and are therefore extending the garbage collection times for the coming festival.
Storm
Not only our festival was hit by a storm in 2014 and had to be evacuated to protect you from lightning strikes or flying objects. The evacuation went very quickly - we would like to thank both our security staff and YOU for your cooperation and trust! We know that it is of course unpleasant to be torn out of the party atmosphere, but hey - maybe a few babies were made! ;)
Theft
Unfortunately, even at lovely festivals, things do get stolen from tents. We need YOUR help with this issue, as it is simply not possible to monitor the entire campsite around the clock. Take care of each other, be active and speak to dubious people either directly or inform the security. Be careful with your belongings, leave valuables on your person and pack your bags in your tent when you go onto the site. In short, don't make it easy for such idiots to steal from you and show courage if you notice a theft!
Sexism
...is simply shit and certainly doesn't belong to the spirit of our festival or anywhere else!
Unfortunately, some guys haven't realized this yet or maybe never thought about it. Therefore we ask you to respect the women on our field to the highest degree and to give them the appropriate space - without staring at them or getting too close to them in any way.
Our security will be instructed to pay more attention to such things and to rigorously remove people from the grounds who simply have no decency. If you become a victim of such situations yourself or observe them: Don't stand idly by - don't look away!
Thanks
This is the part of the conclusion that words can't even remotely do justice to: the thanks to our crew, helpers and all contributors.
Love, dedication, courage, loyalty, individuality, skill, optimism, creativity and a pinch of your loving craziness - these are the ingredients that you bring with you and from which we “bake” the Klangtherapie Festival - we think: an excellent feast.
We have decided against naming people or institutions because the list would be endless and there is too great a risk of forgetting someone. We'll just say this much: it starts with A for residents and ends with Z for Zischi!
