WE WANT TO BRING UTOPIAS TO LIFE

For over 20 years, we have been transforming 20 hectares of Franconian woodland into a cultural landscape of countless possibilities for a few days each summer. Away from commerce, free from sponsorship, miles away from the mainstream. We are not puppets of capitalism or a profit-oriented corporation - we pull the strings ourselves. We do not enrich ourselves from your hard-earned money. Instead, we enrich the Bavarian cultural landscape together with you.

We do not tolerate any form of racism, anti-Semitism, sexism, ableism or other forms of discrimination and abusive behavior. The awareness team is there for you before, during and after the festival to actively address these issues. Our team consists of experienced and trained people who you can talk to, call or visit in the awareness tent at any time.

At home, of course, but for a festival with over 4500 people in an open field, it's a real feat of strength. But every year we implement new ideas that make our ecological footprint even smaller. We separate our festival waste, upcycle in every conceivable way, offer low-emission travel options, provide our crew with organic catering, swear by waterless compost toilets and a vegetarian/vegan food offer (the only exception is the barbecue stand of our friends from the local fire department).

We want our festival to be a place where each and every one of you can feel at ease and meet each other without restrictions. We want to inspire a loving, supportive, respectful and conscious coexistence. We create spaces in which everyone has the freedom to be who they are! We want to live in a world in which social justice and ecological sustainability are a matter of course. We will not just dance towards this change, but actively help to shape it.
